Our theme – Celebrating 25 Years of Impact – recognises that 2020 is a significant moment for Triodos Bank, our amazing customers and the world in which we live. It sees us celebrate 25 years in the UK of helping our customers deliver positive social, cultural and environmental benefit, and 40 years of impact internationally.

There has been a dramatic shift in consciousness during this time – right now, the climate emergency, a need for greater social inclusion and the role money plays in shaping the world we live in are increasingly front of mind. Values-based banking has never felt more relevant; money used in the right way really has the power to change the world.

An update from the Triodos UK and Group management team, including time for you to ask questions, will be followed by sessions celebrating the past and future impact that our customers – both business and personal – have made possible.

Speakers

Hosted by Gillian Burke, of BBC Springwatch fame, guests will include:

  • John Steel of Café Direct, the UK’s first and largest Fairtrade hot drinks business and one of Triodos’ longest-standing customers

  • Caroline Norbury of Creative England, our partner in establishing a Creative Growth Finance fund to provide much needed scale up finance to the UK’s most promising creative businesses

  • Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage, an ardent supporter of the organic movement and campaigner across many environmental and societal issues

  • Richard Curtis, writer, producer and campaigner whose latest campaign, ‘Make My Money Matter’ launches in April

There will be time for further conversations, refreshments and networking (between 5:00-6:00pm), and we would love for you to stay and be part of this special, celebratory reception.
